Jake's First Dunk in the Pool

As the weather heats up here in Phoenix, Scott decided to run out and get a pool for Jakey. The water was a little too cold for Jakey to enjoy it, but daddy was too excited to wait for the water to warm up. So let's just say pool time didn't last too long:)
Mommy ran out and bought a floatie with a canopy to shield Jakey from the smoldering sun!!!

Jake's 4 Month Check Up

April 23, 2008...Scott and I took Jake to the dr's for his 4 month check up (even though he is 4 1/2 months) and she gave us a clean bill of health. Jake weighed in at 17 lbs 6 ounces and he is almost 27 inches long. He is such a big boy and we can't believe how fast he is growing!!! After we had gotten home, Jake began to get real fussy seeing as he had his shots, a cold and his first tooth came through that day, so it was a triple whammy!! So this picture is of daddy finally getting cranky Jakey to sleep:)

Can we say Tax Deduction!!!! This is what we dressed Jakey in when Scott and I went to get our taxes done:)

I have many nicknames for Jakey, one being my little monster baby and I found this bib and matching onesie that says "mommy's little monster baby"!!! It was perfect, I just love it:)
