Solid Food for Jakey

So these pics are about two months old but I couldn't resist not posting them. Since we've had issues with Jakey's acid reflux and dairy products, the pediatrician wanted us to wait till Jakey was 5 1/2 months old to start solids. He was such a good boy, but by the second day of rice cereal he was over it and wanted something better. So the pics of Jake in his army jammies are Jakey eating sweet potatoes. So far he has loved everything but peas.

Jakey drinking from his sippie cup:)
So mommy went shopping (of course) and found a cute hat and sunglasses for Jakey to wear when he goes swimming

Doesn't he look cute just chillin in his jumper with his glasses and hat on:)

Father's Day 2008

My two handsome men watching the Laker's game for father's day.

I got Jake a onesie that said "Cool Just Like Daddy" for him to wear on father's day

Mother's Day 2008

Okay so all I wanted to do for my first Mother's Day was to go to Cali and be with family and friends, so we packed up and headed out. Sunday we went and saw Scott's family and Jake met his first "2nd" cousin Dylan who is 4 months younger than him and great grandpa and grandma got to see their first grandbabies together.
Jake is checking Dylan out:)
Two proud daddies
Okay so I cheated, we forgot to take a picture of Jake and me together for mother's day, so we took one together on my birthday

First 4th of July

Okay so I have a lot of catching up to do, but I thought I would start off with Jake's first 4th of July. I was in a wedding on the 5th, so the rehearsal and rehearsal luncheon was on the 4th and then we got to go see fireworks from the Queen Mary in Long Beach. We weren't too close to the fireworks because we didn't want to scare little Jakey, but we had a lot of fun. Jakey with Auntie Cherise
