Another Cali Trip

For my birthday this year I wanted to take Jake to Disneyland, seeing as he and I would be free and Scott ended up getting in free thanks to Matt and Steph. We had quite the turn out...my best friend Cherise, her nephew Xzavier, my friend Danielle and Melissa, Matt, Steph, Emily and Roy. I had my reservations about taking a one and a half year old to Disneyland, but I thought what the heck it's pretty much a free trip. We got to the park at 10am and didn't leave until almost midnight and Jake did great!!! We all had so much fun:)

This picture is hilarious!!! We took Jake on Pirates of the Carribean and he was covering his eyes, but peaking out the side.

Our family pic with Mickey:) As soon as Jake saw Mickey he screeeeeamed like a baby!!!

Jake loving the teacups:)

The birthday girls!!!

The next day was our beach trip

Then Sunday we had a family party and Stephen's farewell

Then we finally got to meet a "friend" who is just as rambunctious as Jake!!! These boys had so much fun together, they played for hours!!!

Happy Belated Mother's Day

So this is the only pic that I have taken with my son recently and it wasn't on Mother's day either. I seem to always be on the other side of the camera, so finally here I am with Jake after he put his helmet on my head and unfortunately I have NO makeup on. But I had to post it for my Mother's day post. For Mother's day Scott and Jake bought me a "Build a Bear" that was a baseball player and Scott recorded Jake laughing and put that in the bears paw (so cute). Then I got a gift certificate for a pedicure!!! I loved my gifts, it was so awesome:)

Another Set of Wheels

I know, I know my child is spoiled, but my dad really wanted to get Jake this little tikes car for his birthday and I asked him to hold off cause he was a little too small for it then. So now Jake is 17 months old and I figured he was old enough now to use it. So here are a few pics of Jakey and papa putting it together:)

and the finished product...too cute!!!

My How Time Flies...

I have been a little lazy at blogging these days, so I have a lot to catch up on. Hope you enjoy:) Jakey deciding it's a good idea to finally wear his helmet

We finally get to go swimming

Grandma Debbie took me to a place where they serve my favorite...hot dogs:)

I got to take Jake on his first ride on the carousel

And we had friends in town from Michigan visiting and we got to meet their new little guy Elijah. Jake was so good with him...that was until we started letting Elijah sit in Jake's bouncy chair and high chair then he was not happy.
